Does the word assessment conjure up images of a massive boa constrictor, slowly wrapping itself around you and your students, squeezing the vitality out of you?  Discuss ways to make assessment—grading and feedback— support the artistic development we are committed to fostering at the AAU. Natasha Haugnes (Faculty Development) explores ways to assess creative process, risk taking and other qualities beyond formal elements of finished pieces.
