Confused about how some of the online tools work? Need tips on best practices? Want to share ideas with other instructors? Faculty Evaluation & Coaching staff host regular workshops, where you have a chance to talk with your colleagues and get answers to your teaching questions.

Unless otherwise noted, all workshops will be held online. See details on how to participate.

Zoom Training for Onsite Instructors

  • One-on-one Training and Assistance available on request.

For the last several weeks, Faculty Evaluation and Coaching has been offering daily workshops to help you transition to Zoom technology. At this time, we've seen a large drop in attendance as instructors have become more confident and proficient teaching classes using Zoom. With these things in mind, starting this Thursday, 4/16, the workshops will be discontinued and instead individualized Zoom support will be available exclusively.

How to Participate in an Online Workshop

  • You will need a web browser and microphone access for your computer or device, or alternatively a telephone, to join the audio.

  • In addition, we would like to use video conferencing for as many people as possible. So if you have a webcam, we hope you will consider participating via video.

  • Meeting links will be sent out to participants prior to workshops as well as information on how to attend.

  • Please log in 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the session, so we can address any technical issues — and so the meeting can begin on time. Thank you for your consideration!

  • You’ll find information about connecting to the audio once you join the meeting.

  • If you will be connecting to the online meeting from outside the US and need a local phone number to call, there will be options for other country numbers when you connect to audio.
